Many times, more than not, follow up albums are usually disappointing that at best have one or two good songs--"Under My Skin" is definitely NOT disappointing--just listen to the MP3 samples! The only reason I did not give this CD five stars is because I don't really care for the song "Freak Out", as it is more of a filler song than anything. The ballad song "Slipped Away" is a very nice tribute song she wrote to her grandfather, although I don't think it really fits the theme of the album title ("Under My Skin")(maybe it should have been a single or put on another CD?). Overall, I would recommend this CD and her other one "Let Go" for A.L. fans, but I would not recommend her latest release, "The Best Damn Thing."
